Apr. 11th, 2004 10:08 amEveryone got their financial aid checks yesterday, so we all did the binge-spending thing. On the plus side I'm taking more credits this term, so the amount that I have left is usually the amount that I start off with. That's plesant. Still some stuff I'm going to buy of course, because I'm irresponsible.
Cookie and I bought SO many scratch-tickets yesterday... altogether I probably spent about 13 dollars or so on tickets... but the ones I won with I kept going back to trade for more... it was fun actually...stupid not to take the money...but fun. But eventually I got tired of walking back to Dari Mart...soooo I haven't returned some of them yet. Which means I have tickets totalling a reedemable value of 11 dollars ((2 dollars of that are from different days entirely))... and I also have a win for life draw ticket...which I'll check out later today...see if I'm a thousandaire.
;.; out of all the stuff I got at hot topic, I didn't buy any pants or skirts or shorts. I want a new pair of buckle-ridden pants, I really do, but even in a fit of irresponsible spending, I couldn't justify spending 55 dollars on a single item for some reason. It's not like I haven't done something like that before. But I kept thinking "55 dollars that so-and-so percent of my money. Nah I have enough pants anyway. ((which is true...I have alot of pairs of pants. just no black pants that I really like.))"
I went a little crazy with the beauty product purchasing..shampoos and makeup and whatnot...well not crazy...i just got a little more than usual...
It's depressing...most of the things I bought are things I bought because I'm uncomfortable in my own skin and I need variety...the clothes...the makeup...that nifty side-bag with the nintendo controller design <3... However the manga I bought was just me being me. =) I bought the latest Peach Girl (How could you, Momo!) an issue of Kaikan Phrase(which turned out to be softcore manga, but what the hell) ...an issue of Paradise Kiss that i'd lost a few weeks ago...and then I got the final volume of Paradise Kiss...((deeply disappointed in the ending...how dare it not end how I wanted it to.))
...I was at Shari's last night with everyone... and BumbleBee had an order of tabasco-buffalo wings... and when she was done she pushed it away from her... but then I could smell the tabasco...YUCK!! so I pushed it away as well... then I sorta scratched my eyelid or something and... OH THE PAIN!!! Apparently I got some of the tabasco sauce on my finger and subsequently got it in my eyes...@_o it took like 10 minutes for me just to be able to keep my eye open...good god that hurt.
...Good times.
... I must buy that Mars Volta cd...
