Mar. 17th, 2006 12:12 pmI wish people would stop killing their children. It seems like every week I read about some deranged parent who killed their child. We live in a world where abortion is frowned upon, because it's 'murder,' but maybe in a world with more abortions, there would be less horrible stories about fathers shooting their daughters, or mothers cutting off their baby's arms...
I've given alot of thought to abortion in the past...I've come to the decision that I don't think it's wrong, or a sin. I think the real wrong being done is the plethora of girls being careless with sex, and having "a few children" before they're even old enough to buy alcohol. They will raise these children in a bad way, it's clear. The girls are too young and selfish to give a growing child the attention it needs, and eventually are going to resent the child for halting their lives, their freedom. The child may never understand why their mother ignores it, or resents it, and will grow up worse than the girl who gave birth to it.
I'm a bit nervous that in 30 years america will be overrun with angry royally fucked up serial-killer lower class adults, who were unwanted alternatives to abortion.
...saying that... I don't know if I could do it though, because I am a curious person, and would wonder what a child I had would be like.
...anyhoo...I'll shut up.
