SiMS

You might not think it... but I used to *LOVE* Barbies/dolls, etc. I liked making up named, and different personalities, and roles, and making sure they all looked different... I tried to have involving plots when I played... and I think I was playing with them pretty much until I happened upon (good ol')SMU **props if you know what I'm talking about**... that was around when I was 13... Seems maybe too old for toys, but my mom said I started playing with dolls late...so I'll go with that...

Anyway, I was thinking about that today...and I think I see a connection between playing with dolls, and my on-again-off-again addiction to the Sims....(more recently...the Sims 2)... I get to have this little world....with all sorts of characters, and for some reason the sort of mundane life the SiMS experience is almost infinitely entertaining to me... I'm pretty sure I played for 12 hours on Monday... I can't be sure, but I'm pretty sure I started playing while watching the 24 marathon...and was still playing when the second leg of that was done... hmmm...

Of course, unlike the barbies, my SiMs 2 game keeps crashing... and I am slowly learning the importance of saving...

by the way...to anyone that's played the game... have you done the Plesant Family scenario? The husband was boinking the miad!!! Scandalous.
